Bringing the Golden Rule to Life With Cross Kidz!

February is often noted as the month all about L-O-V-E, but at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, the Children's Ministry it's all about being K-I-N-D! The virtue of Kindness is expressed by communicating to others that they are valuable by how you treat them. The Golden Rule "Do to others as you would have them do to you." Luke 6:31.
Because Kindness is a shared value of OneEgg sponsors and staff, Pastor Jamie Lantzsch invited OneEgg.org to tell Cross Kidz how they can demonstrate kindness to kids just like them in sub-Saharan Africa. Excitement filled the air as kids from first to fifth grade were introduced to the OneEgg.org model of kindness.
As Cross Kidz continue to focus on kindness a challenge was issued. OneEgg.org Kindness Challenge every child in the Cross Kidz Ministry to share the OneEgg.org model of kindness with 5 people by February 28. There was an amazing response in accepting the challenge while questions and suggestions poured in about how they group could do more. As a reminder of The Golden Rule and the Kindness Challenge each participant received an OneEgg.org Bookmark. We are excited find out the reach of the Kindness Challenge, stay tuned to the coop.
